About me:

After studying history, political science and gender studies at the universities of Vienna and Bern I went on to work as a historical researcher and language teacher in Vienna for several years. I continued my studies in England and graduated with a PhD in Film History from the University of Portsmouth in January 2009. From 2009 until 2013 I held postdoctoral research & visiting fellowships at the University of Southampton, the German Historical Institute Washington, D.C., the Zentrum für Zeithistorische Forschung (ZZF) Potsdam and the Forschungsstelle für Zeitgeschiche Hamburg, Germany.
